Kendall Indian Hammocks Directions to SKS fields:
Preferred Directions: (back entrance--slightly more
direct route)
Fl. Turnpike to SW 88th St. (Kendall Dr.), east 0.2 of a mile to SW 117th Ave.,
north on 117 Ave to light at SW 84th St., east on SW 84th St past stop signs.
Look for entrance to Dewey Knight Children's Center (and SKS banner) and make
left into complex. Go North past several speed bumps and you should see fields
to your left. Make left at access road and park adjacent to fields.
Alternate route: Fl. Turnpike to SW 88th St. (Kendall Dr.), east
0.2 of a mile to SW 117th Ave.,
north 0.2 mile to SW 79th St.,east on 79th St to SW 114 Ave. South on SW
114 Ave, follow bend in road to the left (east). Fields are on the south side of
the access road. For Parking: go past fields to Stop sign and make right turns
until you return to the field parking.
Kendall Soccer Park
The park is located on SW 127 Ave north of Kendall Drive (SW
88th ST) and south of Sunset Drive (SW 72 St). The entrance is on the east side
of SW 127th Ave.
from the North:
Florida Turnpike south to Kendall Drive (SW 88 ST) exit. Make a right turn (head
West) on Kendall to SW 127 Ave (Mobil station on corner). Make another right
turn (head North) on SW 127 Ave and the park entrance will be on your right hand
side before you reach Sunset Drive (SW 72 St).
from the South:
Florida Turnpike north to Kendall Drive (SW 88 ST) exit. Make a left turn (head West) on Kendall Drive to SW 127th Ave. (Mobil Gas station on the corner). Make a right (head north) on SW 127th Ave and Park entrance will be on your right hand side (East).
NOTE: The park currently has 2 lighted fields and a field house with restroom facilities. (Eventually it is slated for 5 fields). The park has a state of the art artificial surface suitable for normal soccer cleats. It consists of plastic grass with a sand/rubber mix underneath.
